Hi t00fri,

are the splashscreens working only on a linuxinstallation or on a windowsinstallation to? I`ve celestia 1.4.0pre6 on win XP and i see no splash.

Chris, i see the same error`s as Ynjevi in this post. Saturn has 2 ringshadows and appear`s red. Moons, mercury, venus (without athmosphere), jupiter, uranus, neptun are black. Pluto are green/blue. Hi Chris, the new prerelease 3 doesn`t fix the OGL2 Renderpath for my ATI Radeon 9500 non Pro. The Planets are all red, only the cloudlayer are rendered okay. Problem is now fixed.
I had to reinstall the graphiccard driver and now it go.
My actual screen resolution is 1368x1026x32@85Hz and all work.

Hi Marc, thanks for the reply.
Yes i`ve an overclocked CPU and GraKa but i tested it with original but same problem here.
I`ve tested a OpenGL Bench (GLExess) and it crashes on these resolution to. I think i do reinstall the graphicdriver. Hope it helps..cu

Can someone reproduce the crash on my system? I`ve testet some other resolutions on my monitor like 1400*1050, 1365*1024 and as i start celestia it works (in window mode). If i maximize the celestiawindow it crashes my system and i can only (hard)reset my system.It is only by this resolutions but wh...

Hi Chris, the screenshot looks fantastically, the only thing which tunes me sadly is, that I would get not to see this probably so soon, because I have an ATI 9500 and the Haze effect is not represented :cry: But, please further, the other visual effects are working. Thanks for this great programm.
