Ideas for next version of Celestia
It's already possible to make scripts in Celestia! Make them with your favourite text editor and load them from the file menu (open script). You just need someone to write the scripts, I guess... Hmmm, I don't seem to have that option under the File menu in the Linux version. I guess my next reques...

Ideas for next version of Celestia
<snip> 2) More tours; What about a quick tour of the Voyager-mission, includign orbits and automatic time-effects and scripts. The tour can start in the year when Voyager 1 was launched, and can end when Voyager has come as long out as it is today. <snip> I think being able to select from a list of...

Re: Latest Feature Requests (for beyond 1.2.4)
I would like to see Celestia distro broken down into more parts. The binary, source and graphics should be in separate archives. That way it would be easy to update from one version to another. Sure, the 10 meg archive isn't that big even with my pokey old modem, but the textures are a large amount ...

Re: Crash: "segmentation error" when demo comes to saturn orbit
Try to go to Mercury and push CTRL P. You should see mercury now in a nice bumpmapped rendering. Next push CTRL V to activate vertex shading. That should give you a SEGFAULT whenever you do this for objects that have loaded an external bumpmap file via solarsys.ssc I'm using a RH 7.2 system with a ...

Could you post an image with tile errors so I can try and figure out what's going on?

Hey, I'll even log-in for ya. :)
I just emailed you 2 image captures of Saturn, one live and the other paused. You can see the errors I was talking about.
