Also, if you haven't already enabled it. Have Outlook Express only download the Hotmail messages Headers. That way you have to manually tell Outlook to open the message, rather than relying on the Hotmail virus scanner.

Nope, I'm using 98SE. This little Quirk is really confusing me, it's not a major probelm though. It's more of a annoyance, in the nicest possible way, taking nothing away from the excellence that is Celestia.

Desktop and Games at 1024x768x32

However I can't get Celestia to actually display the option of running at this resolution and Colour Depth. I have to use 1024x768x16. I can't figure it out, every other resolution can be picked at 32bit though.

Not much of a Bug. I can't choose 1024x768x32, I couldn't do this in 1.2.4 Celestia aswell. I know I can use that resolution as I fly Combat Flight Sim2 in the exact same res. along with all my games. Do I have to unistall the 1.2.4 version first and then drag my big *.dds files and other add-ons across again???

Or will the new version just overwrite the relevent files?

I'm using the same card as you, although on a lower spec machine and different drivers :-

PIII 700MHz
448MB PC133 SDRAM
MSI GeForce4 Ti4400 128DDR w/ Nvidia 29.42 drivers
Creative SB PCI128

I have no problems at all with ringed planets. Give those drivers a try out, you never know.

One new thing I know Chris is working on is Comets with trails

I have read that he is or was a ill, that's the reason for the delay.

Personally I don't mind waiting, I just wish I was experienced in coding or some other such computing area so I could lend a hand.

Check out Bruckners' site, the download with the Deathstar is on there. It looks well cool with the reflective light. If I remember correctly it's called "Star Wars.zip", also there is coruscant as well.

I, myself have a doctorate (PHd) in Astro-Physics from Oxford, Eng. Although I have to admit, computer coding seriously baffles me. For some reason I just can't get my head around it. The closest I get is adding new planets around stars that have none, I use really weird orbits just for fun.

Excellent Rassilon, I especially like the new Flare effect. BTW I had the High Res pack and am really impressed with the difference (taking nothing away from the original).
