Don. Edwards, that sounds a lot like the Inca belief that the world would end on December 21st, 2012 (which just happens to be a winter solstice). They believed that at noon on that day, the sun would be in the exact center of the "Life Tree" (actually the Milky way). The "life tree" was the conduit...
