How well will this card cope with the new Celestia version?

Re: New "follow object" feature request
Yes, that pretty much does it. But would it be possible to point/lock the camera to a point in space where there is no object? Another interesting feature would be to allow objects trace their movements on the stellar background. For instance, I am on Earth, following it and want to trace the moveme...

Same speed I mean same angular velocity
The observed body moves in it's orbit. The observer moves along with the body, but on a smaller or wider orbit, so that there is always a straight line between one focus (or the center), the observer and the observed.

texture interpolation & fractal terrain generation
I noticed some add-ons include additional higher-resolution texture patches for certain objects. It's nice to see the quality of the picture remain as one aproaches a planet. Still, this doesn't look particularly great. The borders of the texture are evidend when viewing the planet from a wrong angl...

Feature requested
I was flying the Cassini space probe the other day and at the same time I wanted to look at Titan. To do that I selected Cassini, then pointed the camera at Titan, accelerated time and kept on pressing the "C" key (giving an annoying and discontinous motion). Would it be possible to set an object as...

Re: the galaxies look very dark
Do Galaxies have a setting symilar to the star's "magnitude". It would be interesting to see a galaxies' luminosity increase as we aproach it. Other ideas would be a sort of random star generator that would fill up the missing stars in the Celestia universe. If not precision, random does give realism.
