Re: StarGen Sources
I am trying to run sirus20x6's version of StarGen, but when compiling, cygwin gives me an error saying M_PI was in place of PI. Upon fixing it, it compiled, with multiple warnings for multi-character character constant. Upon attempting to run it, I get error dialogs saying cyggcc_s-seh-1.dll, cygstc...

Re: The Plutonian Empire Universe
I have bid farewell to Delta Trianguli. "Hadeus" is now it's own system, an idealized version of Delta Trianguli.

I noticed Binaria, Cancer Centauri, and Scorpi Centauri were missing planets, so I uploaded fixes: Binaria: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BTzuY_KBnSelOJ9m_AiE1YmWdfDuk2xS&authuser=plutonianempire%40gmail.com&usp=drive_fs Cancer Centauri: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BTsSJzuIcrp3oWPs...

The Plutonian Empire Universe
This is from the universe of the Plutonian Empire, a high fantasy author self insert set in space, with plenty of (literal) handwavium to go around. The Plutonian Empire was founded in Neuve Pluton, Pluton Island on Earth On January 1st, 2020, in a magically uplifted island in the South Atlantic. Wh...

StarGen Sources
Yo, I looked around my Celestia Archives folder, and I noticed I possibly have 3 source codes for Stargen, from 2012, 2013, and 2014 respectively, in case anyone wants to try their hand at improving them :) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TfVyQfw9x-3oT-6Jq9LruyVgU-ugCvWw/view?usp=sharing (Feel free...

Nice. What might be some conceivable space missions to the planet? (Probes, orbiters, flybys, or even landers?)

Hypothetical: Specific Rogue planet. When could be its discovery date given its orbital, size, and albedo parameters?
Hi all, I'm in need of a plausible detail for some of my fiction I write. I have a rogue planet with a set of orbital parameters as follows, looping around Sol: Orbit { Epoch 2458860.74038 RefPlane "Ecliptic" PericenterDist 0.9 Period 106.73035377261823 Eccentricity 1.04 Inclination 32.8 A...

My Celestia crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME I click anywhere in space. Specifically, galaxies, nebulae, or stars. Every time.

Clicking certain stars or deep space objects causes 1.7.0 to crash Could you narrow "certain stars or deep space objects"? What object to click to reproduce? Additionally, Celestia does not recognize my Intel HD 4400's OpenGL abilities: Try to update your graphic drivers. Celestia simply ...

Re: Vision's Addons
Posting here for posterity.
I did not make the original sprite models. Cham made them using Wolfram Alpha, iirc. I had absolutely zero hand in the creation of these models.
Hope this helps.

Re: Current project: Modified Stargen (a solar system generator)
Apparently I'm a forgetful old fart now... 9_9 Does anyone remember *exactly* how to output stargen ssc directly to an .ssc file? It keeps flooding my command prompt with uselessly un-copypasta-able code instead >_< Edit: Finally found it after extensive googling: https://celestia.space/forum/viewto...
