Using Celestia textures with another app
I know this is a little late, but I have used textures that others have made in Celestia for some of my skyboxes I made for a Windows deskop shell called 3DNA . I don't get paid for it, I make them for fun and relaxation, but I thought I should say something. I know some of the textures I used are j...

Re: Star Trek Systems
Fantastic jestr! I have gotten quite a few of your worlds, but Bajor kept aborting during download on the other site, once at 81MB completed! On dialup! Grrr.... But I was finally able to get it, and want to thank you for another great piece of work!

Re: Celestia Add-on Catalog Now Live
I had used my ftp program to get there, that is how I got the Hawaii VT's, but still couldn't get the ones in question without them being corrupted. In fact, when using my ftp program and downloading one of the files, I got a "aborted by user" message near the end of the download, and I had done not...

Re: Celestia Add-on Catalog Now Live
It must be a time thing with my dialup and your web host Don, as I had a friend of mine who runs a site that I have my little subdomain on download them for me on highspeed, and I downloaded them off of her site just fine . One of these days I guess I'll break down and go broadband...

Re: Celestia Add-on Catalog Now Live
Don, I just tried the New England VT 2 Boston link again, and when it gets done downloading I get this: ! C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\Downloads\eastcost-p2-boston-lvl6up-(last-lvl-hires-2048).zip: Unexpected end of archive That is about the 4th time or so I've tried it (and the Italy 2 and 3 a...

Re: Celestia Add-on Catalog Now Live
Hi Joe, love your site! Got lots of good stuff from there so far, but on the Earth link the New England VT 2 Boston link seems to be a corrupted file, and so does the Italy VT 2 and 3 . And the Hawaii VT doesn't have any links at all, though I was able to get them anyway :) . Just wanted to point th...

Re: My Mars Page
For those of you who have had problems with installing DBrady's Mars VT textures, this is how I got it to work on my system. I'm a newbie to this community, so just slap me if I state the obvious, or am incorrect about something I say  . Here is how the directories look on my machine: http://o...

Re: Barzan Wormhole
That's the same video card I have and I get everything just fine, I got the wormhole from jestr's site before it disappeared. It's slow and jerky, and sucks memory and resources like a banshee, but I can see everything fine. My system specs are p4 2.6gig, 512MB RAM, NVidia TI4200 128MB 8x AGP video.

Thanks, I'll try them out after I get off work. Hope you can work something out with the engine, because I'd love to explore the surface of Mars like what's in your pic's!

Re: Doctor Who Universe 2.0 & Sol System
Just recently downloaded DWU and installed it, then found the necessary dll needed and installed that, and it looks real interesting! Pardon me if I seem a little thick here, but is the Zeta Rings the only addon for it right now? I found no instuctions for traveling, but found that the arrow keys an...
