I have managed to simulate a supernova, but remeber the explosion itself takes quite a while. My simulation shows a star casting off its outer shell, and X-ray bursts leaving in 6 directions.

Ahoy mates, been a while since I been here, but here goes....

I am trying to add the cockpit thing to lua, and no matter what I do, it don't appear in the boxes, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I got a version of it, 0.18.1, it's kinda fun, the forums are weak at best, the mods list make it more entertaining. I think a "game" should be entertaining, but way too many people there take it serious as if they had just discovered space flight. All in all the game is cool.

Um never mind guys, lol, I made a simple rookie mistake, so yes you can all laugh at me, what was the mistake? IMAGE FILE NAME, lol. Oh well live learn, get frustrated, scream at the moon, drink some beers, pull hair out, look again, and fix the problem.

I am currently converting the star wars galaxy to a sort of sight seeing tour, now in the lua tools there is an info image text file that puts up cool pictures of mars, the moon, Saturn, the sun, and so on. Has anyone ever done a primordial so or system (sol) for celestia? The early years, the rocky formations and such? Is there a link?

Here is the YT1300 Cockpit to replace the Lua tools cockpit, Simply Rename it Cockpit and place it in your Cockpit files.

Oh and the cockpit is an actual model, use nav keys to get closer to it then into it, approach from the back.

Modified image, working on actual lights have seen em on the star trek ships, dismantling them is hard, lol, as for the cockpit, I believe I sent the cockpit.CMOd, just use the mynocks ssc file but for image file use cockpits name. As for the landing gear, I have a separate model with gear down, ram...

Hope all works for ya, using the cockpit lua add on, I enjoy flying through the galaxy and I have notice I am traveling at 37 Lyrs a sec, hyperdrives? Lol lemme know.

Ok, Goofy, well after much to do, I have added this file to my 4share, in it there are the textures, and the files, Cockpit.cmod, and Mynock.cmod, they are compiled and ready to use in Celestia, just make the SSC files for em, and your off... or view em using anim8tor.. http://www.4shared.com/zip/-g...
