Re: ATTENTION!
I think Malenfant has recently been doing an excellent job trying to help some new posters to a more profitable way of posting. I crited only two of his posts. Also he effectively helps to avoid that some post all that big nonsense in the Astronomy & Physics board... Yes he does, so do I. Me >(...

Re: ATTENTION!
Has it escaped your attention that I only criticize others who, themselves criticize others ? Bravo! I admire someone who, as a matter or principle, always criticizes themselves when criticizing others. I was going to criticize only those forum members who do not criticize themselves, but I gave up...

Re: I can see for Miles and Miles!
I see no particular harm in having Celestia display ditances in miles if that is what users want. Until then, people who want miles can easily use a calculator to work out the conversions. Here's a simple conversion tip. The conversion between miles and kilometres (1.609344) is close to the Golden ...

Re: I can see for Miles and Miles!
Just for info - I'm British, and over 30 (I leave it to the reader to decide whether that's "young" or "old"). I grew up with an unholy mix of units - I basically go millimetre, inch, foot, metre (roughly = yard), kilometre, mile from smallest to biggest. But I prefer using the metric ones by far (...
