Re: Nine planets at HD 10180?

almost all data are at their place, soon i'll finish this ^^

I want to be as more physically accurate as possible. There truly is a LOT of math behind those planetary radii

Re: Nine planets at HD 10180?

Thanks for sharing! Now i want to code something for celestia about this system  It should look great, 9 planets! It is a pity we don't know the planetary radii... I will try to calculate them from an Astrophysical Journal publications, there's a lot of math behind the mass-radius relations...

Re: Venus radar

Outstanding!!

This map alone, 24 GB you say, wuld be twice bigger than all the material hosted on the Celestia motherload!

I'll download this as soon as you release it!

Re: Kepler Planet Candidates

I thought you did it with an automatized program, just giving the input files :D Things in which i'm really bad at, i don't know anything of programming  The first thing I've ever coded is right Celestia, which has a very simple and intuitive syntax... The scripts are still out of my reach, i'...

Re: Kepler Planet Candidates

Yep, KOI-1611.01 can only be the red dwarf This add-on is amazing, my compliments! I've just finished my own add-on about the Kepler confirmed planets, but this already includes everything  You beated me of one week  How did you write it? I mean, it's a 2000 planets add-on, surely you ...

Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

Thank you Adirondack! :D Don't worry, you are right. I hope you forgive my impatience :D for some reason (i just checked my spam directory) i didn't receive the failure notification... Now I was worried because it was a week again with no news, and i waited two after the failure ^_^ More then for me...

Thanks to everyone that helped for this project! :D I'm really happy that it passed the evaluation :D Concerning the comunications, I didnt' receive anything last time it failed, and again anything now that it passed. Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

Very well, I'll use the Replace command with the planets that had problems, now I'm updated to 1.6.1 (I have the latest extrasolar.ssc file from the SVN, so it was a bit hard finding the differences :D ) and in the description I'll add this: you must have 1.6.1 to make this add-on properly work! Tha...

Re: Venus' rotation is slowing down.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing! :D I am fascinated by this planet. It is the most cruel of the entire solar system. Acid rains, huge atmospheric pressure, temperatures never under 500 °C, volcanoes, ravaging winds, and this strange day of roughly 243 earth days, even retrograde! The retrograde...

Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

This is a qestion for John (BTW, great virtual texture add-ons!! :D :D Have almost all of them!). In my reply I exposed where the problem were born from. Now a question: if someone that downloads my add-on (which I will fix with those "Modify" or "Replace") and has NOT the 1.6.1 ...

Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

Hi deepwatcher, Do you have PC under MS :D or linux :x or MAC :( ? I know from bdfd's experience that the updates asked by John are for linux users (few ridiculous percent). But you must do it if you want see your job on ML. Be accurate, it's a exercice (good or bad...) :?: Can you be more precise?...

Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

That's a pity, I didn't have the celestia version 1.6.1 but the 1.6.0... They even told me that in this same topic, but I was really sure that I had the last version... So in the default catalog I had to modify only Corot-1,2,3,4 (in fact you have no errors with them)... That makes 50% of my ...

Re: Planet with two suns found

Yep, now we have three exoplants being circumbinary found by Kepler! This makes me think that if we found THREE transiting planets around transiting binaries then they are far more common than we ever thought! Yes, I knew those systems, but Kepler-16 was extraordinary because the two stars are both ...

Re: CoRoT Exoplanets Catalogue

I finally managed to upload my add-on, I hope it will receive a positive judgment from the administrators :D

Also Kepler catalogue is ready, but I wait for this to be valued first :

Thanks to you all who helped me a lot with this!
