Re: Some more Trek addons in the works

Hello,

Maybe I missed it, but is there any way to get these models in 3ds or obj format? They really are incredible.

Thank you,

Re: How to get Telescope View...

selden, Thanks for the explanation. That helps. However, I still cannot do what I was able to before. I had a screenshot of Earth with Andromeda in the background and Andromeda was so big it was off the screen, with Earth right there in the middle big enough to take up about 1/3 of the screen. It wa...

Re: How to get Telescope View...

I think I remember it differently. I could be at the Earth, click on M31 and enlarge it to any size - all the while leaving Earth exactly as is. I don't remember, I just know I have some screen shots I can't duplicate. Hello, Does anyone know how to do this? It doesn't seem to be in the "controls.t...

Dune Universe??

Hello,

I've searched the forums for a Dune universe only to find there was one, but it is no more. Does anyone have that add-on anymore, or do you know where I can get it?

Thank you,

christoria

Re: New Celestia-1.4.0pre-FT1.1 Version for Download

My problem was, it was rendering "OpenCluster" labels even with all labels off. I'm glad it's fixed. Thank you.

New Error...

So I downloaded and posted an error early on, then I found the solution. This version FT1.1 seems to have trouble NOT displaying labels on anything called "OpenCluster", even if labels are off. I just renamed them all to "Nebula" and it fixed itself. Anyone else get this issue?

Error Number 1

Hello, I downloaded it and when I ran it, it runs great! So, I moved it and the missing files to my original Celestia folder and it's labeling some random galaxies or nebulas or something. I tried to turn on labels and off labels. Nothing fixes it. They seem to be "Berkley" and some "NGC's" that are...

How to get Telescope View...

I was able to be at Earth and zoom in on Andromeda after selecting it and pressing something (it was bigger than the screen, but I was still in orbit around Earth), but I forgot what keys to use. I didn't see it in any "keycontrol" files either. Could someone please tell me how I did that.

Re: The Endor & Tatooine with Death Star add-on

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but the "ssc" file may be pointing to a wrong "3ds" file. Or, just press "C" to center it correctly.

Re: The Endor & Tatooine with Death Star add-on

Hello,

It should be located at star "HD 143761". Just press "Enter" while running Celestia and type that in exacly, then press "G". Right click on the star to choose where to go.

That sounds like it'd be a cool thing. I'd bet there'd be more scripts if that was implemented.

I've wanted to do the same thing here. JPG's are SLOW on my system, but the DDS's are really smooth.
