Such kind of books I learning before creating trajectories of spacecrafts for Celestia... one from them called "The Mechanics of Space Flights"... and the documents from NASA archive... it's help a lot...

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
I have found information about inclination of Luna-2 trajectory... and it's about 65 degrees in relation to the Earth Equator... so I made new trajectory for Luna-2... now it more correct, but still some errors because of Celestia.. In the pictures, start from Baikonur (Kazakhstan),,, and ...

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
Because there is no a lot of data about this flight and I don't have the computers like in NASA, in my version of the mission, entrance in the atmosphere and next decay of Luna-3 spacecraft occurred in the night sky over the west part of the South America... on December 9, 1959, 07:14:12 UTC...

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
Beautiful achievement!
The progress of the mission is remarkably described even if I do not master BodyFrame and Timeline which are poorly explained in the wikipedia pages for Celestia. This deserves a lesson on the subject.
Thank you Gironde!

Re: Spacecrafts for Celestia
Yes, your request SpaceFanatic64...   watch how changes the orbital frame reference on December 4, when this spacecraft was in the process of entering into orbit around Venus... I like this model and add-on... I have learned a lot of new things in modeling and in making traject...
