Re: Earth Central Updated!!!!

P.S. I have also placed what you may call an easter-egg on the website. So see if you can find it and tell me what you think it is. All I will say is move your cursor around the site to find it. Its getting really cold in here... Looks like The Day After Tomorrow... Nice video, but I would a...

Wow... I am sorry to say that you are almost wrong in every point you made... First of all: when that Mars-sized planet(call it X, Y or what ever you want), Earth was very young, and it was not covered with ice like Europa, there was no land, and there wasnt even water at all, IT WAS JUST MELTED! A ...

Re: Hubble

When I said it wont be possible, I didnt mean that its impossible to convert msh to 3ds, I have the script and I have already converted many times. The only problem is that the creator of the Shuttle Meshes used in teh addon of the "Shuttle Fleet"(that includes the 6 shuttles: Atlantis, Challenger, ...

I am sorry to say that it wont be possible to do this(use orbiter shuttle meshes here)... Are you saying that they were converted to msh or are yo uasking if they were co...

Re: Hubble

I already have that tool for converting 3ds to msh and the other way. And I have put a thread in the Orbiter forum to try to contact the person who made the meshes so I can ask for his permission to use them in Celestia...

Also I can add the launch pad with a shuttle ready to launch in KSC...

Re: Stars Question...

Once I tried to put a globular cluster inside the Magallanice Cloud to see how it would like, but because those starts were outside the 16K light years limit, I cold not see them from earth, but when I went past the MC, looking at it and the Milky Way at the background, teh starts were visible...

Re: Hubble

We have very nice models in the Orbiter comunity... maybe someone can contact the creator and use it here?

Selden, I know what CMOS means, I studyed electronics 1 and a half years, and I think because of that I wrote CMOS instead of CMOD. So thanks for teh CMOD explanation! :)

KSC VT

Today I downloaded the VT of Italy, and when I was there I "flew" a minute to see again the KSC. I found a mistake there: beeing flying in Orbiter for a while I can tell that I know KSC very well, or at least how it looks from space, and I must say that maybe the most two important things are missin...

Re: Speed of Light and Time

I dont know if this is true, and we may never prove it, but I read once that traveling at normal speeds we go forward in time. Traveling near C we also go forward, but the time passes slower. If traveling at C time stops, and if traveling faster than C, time goes backwards, or, in other words, somet...

Wow, thats amazing. Even more amazing is that the probability of finding that event in Celestia is 1 in a 1 followed by many many ceros....

BTW: did you see the shadow covering Calyspo just before it crashes?
