Re: Feature request: Hide cursor
Ah.... it sounds like you have a problem wich was reported on a while back where some useres would see the cursor as black, rather than white as it should be. I can remeber what the problem was or how to correct it as I never had the problem. But do a search of the bugs form, and you should find som...

Try these Jupiter Atmosphere { Height 300 Lower [ 0.7 0.6 0.5 ] Upper [ 0.5 0.45 0.4 ] Sky [ 0.8 0.8 0.5 ] Sunset [ 1.0 0.6 0.2 ] } Saturn Atmosphere { Height 300 Lower [ 0.8 0.75 0.65 ] Upper [ 0.6 0.55 0.45 ] Sky [ 0.8 0.8 0.5 ] }

Re: Celestia Now Has Pseudo-Cloud Shadows!!!!!!!!
This sounds lik egreat news Don . But here's my question: Does this mean that the clouds would have to be static whatever texture size you use ? I do like your working 8k clouds, but I like the cloud movement more :? If so ill have to wait until Chris can impliment this like the ring shadows.

Re: Feature request: Hide cursor
okay Bob not to worry.
at least the info is there for others that might not know.
Personally I really like the Precision Select cursor that Celestia is useing now.
its very user friendly, and makes Celstia look far more professional.

Re: You guys rock!!
Well you have discovered it at the right time
Don Edwards has just released his 16k (16384 x 8192 pixels) Earth texture.
as long as you system and Graphics card is good enough to use it
Look for it in the textures forum.
Oh and Welcome to Celestia![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Wow Don you have been working hard.
The cleanup of the oceans is wonderfull. (No more pixels)
The Oceans now look so much cleaner and fresher.
Nice overall subtle change in colour too.
Have you ever seen so many Smiley faces in one post
12 so far.... and counting...![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Feature request: Hide cursor
Bob you can indeed use any cursor you like with Celestia 131Pre11 Just go to the Mouse options of your control panel. then go to the Pointers section and change the Precision Select Cursor, to whatever cursor you want to appear in Celestia. Press Apply. here are some nice ones http://www.skinbase.or...

Re: New Saturn Texture 2k released
Fantastic David.
this is the best texture of Saturn ive seen so far.
At last some surface detail.
At first i loaded the texture up in a viewer, and though it looked very pale.
but when i viewed it in Celestia it looks great.
Thank you David.

Re: "Celestia Community License" A proposal to conside
Personally im not a texture creator ( dont have the skill involved yet ) But if i did, I wouldn't care who did what with it. Once I had put it up for download to a community such as this.. I wouldn't care how it was being used, and for what. Lifes to short to care about things like that :D Don I kno...

Hmmm the LensFlare things has been asked about many many times before, and will never happen. Basicly a lensflare is exactly that, somthing you see through glass or a lens. not what you would see if you was floating around in space. If this programe ever used a space vessel to move arround then mayb...

Looking forward to the new release.
