yes its true, the galaxyrendering was turned off, here is a Screenshot with galaxyrendering on. the ?Bug? is still there. And what is the big glow in the middle of it all. In Rev. 1.2.4 it looks better, not in rings....

i`ve installt 1.2.5 pre 5 and added the big stardatabas. I zoomed out of our galaxy and look back to the center of it all. and what i see is

Hi everybody,
yesterday i`ve downloaded the new Star.dat from Rigel and i found a monster Star. The Star is very far away from our sun. ?maybe the farest?
I`ve made a snapshot from it here. This Star is 127 times biger then our Sun. Is this a bug?

@ Axel the resolution are not very big: Callisto is a 2048*1024 and Ganymede is also a 2028*1024 map. But for me is`nt big enought, i`ve a monochrome Image from Io that is 5760*2880 but how can i colour it? Right, the uranus rings are not visible from earth but if you are in orbit of uranus i think ...

i`ve a model of a spacestation and in celestia are no texture on it. in my 3d prog are textures, why not in celestia. can anybody help me please. it`s not verry funny...the spacestation orbiting moon and it has the same texture from the moon what is the problem?

@ Rassilon You can upload the Jupi Tex for all mankind :D Yes the Tex may need a horizontal flip and the red spot must be a little mor left. (i have a vid from NASA that show me the right place of the Spot). Mail me if you want it, it`s not verry big ~400Kb. hm..maybe i can correct this tex. can som...
