I checked in the render options, and clouds was ticked. I unticked it, went out of the program, did a reboot and started Celestia again. The clouds box was still unticked, I ticked it and started Celestia again. What do you know, it worked.

Recently, I have noticed that my Clouds for earth don't show up. Everything is in the correct format and is listed correctly in the solarsys.scc file, it's baffling me. At the moment I am using a TNT2 M64 which works great at 1024 x 768 x 16, however in the "Render" menu I can't select the same resolution at 32bit.

It's not a problem as you can't really tell the difference anyway. Just can't wait until I get my GeForce4 Ti4600 128DDR card
