Any plans on implementing this? I use Celestial in a dome for public shows. While it works well for image elements near zenith but when they are moved downward to the "horizon" they will become elongated unrealistic ellipses. Eg. Planets are natural spheres at zenith but become exaggerated oblate spheroids when moved down to the spring line ("horizon"). This can be fixed with a fisheye warping mode. Stellarium has implemented fish eye mode for years now. Hope developers can do this for Celestia.

MartinLewicki, there’s already a thread about this here.
(Edit December 3: was looking through "Add-on releases" and noticed this here; moved to the "Development" sub-forum which is more appropriate)
